About Walden
Find out what Camp Walden is like and why our campers and staff return year after year!
Meet the Owners
We know it is important to you to know in whose hands you are placing your child for the summer. Take this opportunity to see what the owners have to say about their camp, why they began it, and why they continue to love it so much.
Settings & Accommodations
We have over 750 acres of land in beautiful Bancroft Ontario. Our cabins are spacious and well-ventilated and we have a huge dining hall in which to share meals and rainy days. Look through pictures and see our wonderful camp grounds.
The Units
We have 5 units for campers – divided by age group. Find out which unit you’re child
is staying in.
The Activities
We have worked very hard on our recreational activities to make it the most enjoyable it can be. We have an enormous range of activities from land sports and water sports, to arts and crafts. We boast the largest and best equipped summer camp pottery studios, and activity facilities. AND We have a 60ft stage with professional lighting and sound for our drama and dance productions! We provide a motivating and uplifting atmosphere and encourage all our campers to try their hands, feet, or voices at any activity that interests them.
Health & Safety
The health and safety of our campers is our number one priority. All of our counselors are certified in first aid and CPR, and are highly knowledgeable about the camp procedures and policies. We have a fully qualified medical doctor and four nurses standing by in case of any emergency. We are confident in assuring you that safety precautions are always in effect when camp is in session and that your young camper is in excellent hands.
